Welcome to Purdey Pups Dog Grooming

Miranda and her team offer full or part time tuition course in the art of dog grooming, so if you are considering a career in the dog grooming industry and would wish to know more then contact us for information and guidance.

With a vast range of experience gained through many years working with all breeds, Miranda and her team have developed various courses for those wishing to enter the Dog Grooming profession.

Dog Grooming Courses

Course period is 6 weeks, 09.00hrs - 15.00hrs, three days per week, flexible.

Courses are tailored to suit your individual needs the availability of course spaces will be provided on application.

An individual work station is provided for each student along with all the necessary equipment to groom all breeds of dogs.

A large selection of dogs are available from Yorkshire Terriers to Irish Wolfhounds.

The training will consist of a hands on approach, where students will not only learn the art of grooming but will also obtain an understanding in how a busy grooming parlour operates, all student are encouraged to work and learn at their own pace.

The Purdey Pups team offer a safe and comfortable learning environment, and encourage their students to ask questions as part of the learning process.

You will be encouraged to take photographs of the breeds before and after grooming and makes notes so you are able to build your own portfolio for future reference purposes.

As from January 2019 course costs are £3,700.00. Payment terms - Deposit (50% non-refundable) will be required to secure your course, the balance will be payable upon our start date.

Dog Grooming Course Fees

As from January 2019 course costs are £3,700.00 however Purdey Pups can offer Tailor-Made courses to suit your individual needs. Courses can run from as little as two to three days to obtain an understanding of how to care for your own dog, up to the full six week course for those who wish to ultimately run their own grooming parlour.

Payment terms

Accommodation can been arranged by Purdey Pups on a B & B basis at preferential rates locally
